OATH OF ALLEGIANCE AND DECLARATION OF APPOINTED OFFICE

 

His Honour, Mr. Justice J. Bryan Shaughnessy, Regional Senior Justice, Superior Court of Justice, administered to the Mayor and Members of Council the Declaration of Office and Oath of Allegiance as required by the provisions of Section 232 of the Municipal Act, 2001.

 

 

 

PRESENTATION OF CHAIN OF OFFICE

 

Ms. Sheila Birrell, Town Clerk, presented Mayor D. Cousens with the Chain of Office.

 

The Clerk certified that the Mayor and Members of Council had subscribed to the required Oaths of Office and requested that His Worship Mayor D. Cousens assume the Chair.  Mayor D. Cousens assumed the Chair.
