BY-LAW 2005-XXX

A By-law to amend By-law No. 2002-276

being a by-law to impose fees or charges for services or activities provided or done by the Town of Markham

WHEREAS paragraph 391(a) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 authorizes municipalities to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on any class of persons for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it;

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF MARKHAM HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. That By-law No. 2002-276 be amended by adding the following fees to Schedule “A”, under the category Corporate Services – Purchasing:

	FEE	FEE BASIS
Quotations, RFPs and Tenders	$25 to $250	Per Document

2. All other provisions of By-Law 2002-276, except as herein amended, which are inconsistent with the provisions of this By-Law shall continue to apply.
