RECOMMENDATION:
That the Town of Markham purchase 8 tickets to
the Dragon Ball on Saturday, January 24, 2004.
BACKGROUND:
The event is in support of the Yee
Hong Community Wellness Foundation and will be held at Metro Toronto Convention
Centre.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Patron
Sponsorship is $4500.00
Individual
tickets are $380.00 each
A
purchase of 8 tickets would be $3040.00 and would generally comply with the
Town policy of not exceeding $3000 per
organization, per year. The purchase
would be charged to account
