	SUBJECT:	Purchase of Sponsorships – 8^th Annual Children’s Champion Gala for the York Region Abuse Program LeParc – Friday, October 22, 2004

RECOMMENDATION:

That Council receive the request for sponsorship from Sue Flanagan, the Chair of the 2004 Gala Committee in support of the 8^th Annual Children’s Champion Gala for the York Region Abuse Program.

Council will provide an auction item.

PURPOSE:

The proceeds from this Gala will be used to eliminate the waiting lists for the treatment of sexually abused children in York Region

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Gold Sponsorship is $3,500

Silver Sponsorship is $2,000

Corporate Table of 10 is $1,500

Account #840 8415840 – Council Table Promotion is over budget as of August 18, 2004.
