BY-LAW 2004-xxx

A by-law to amend the Property Standards By-law No. 248-1999, as amended

WHEREAS pursuant to Section 15.6 of the Building Code Act, 1992, authority is given to the municipal council to pass a by-law respecting Property Standards.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF MARKHAM HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. By-law #248-1999, as amended, be and same is hereby further amended as follows:

By replacing Clauses (2) and (7) of Section 44 with the following new Clauses:

(2) The Committee shall be composed of five (5) persons, who are

ratepayers in the Town, and the Committee shall be appointed by Town Council in accordance with Town procedure for the appointment to Boards, Committees and Authorities.

(7) Three (3) members of the Committee shall constitute a quorum.
