RECOMMENDATION:

That Council purchase a Corporate Table of 10 for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Gala “Midnight at the Oasis” on Friday, April 1, 2005 at Le Parc. Charges of $3,500 to account

PURPOSE:

The proceeds from this Gala support Markham Stouffville Hospital.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Gold Sponsor $12,000

Silver Sponsor $6,000

Corporate Sponsor Table $3,500

The maximum funding to any one organization per year is $4000.00

The breakdown is: $3,000.00 maximum sponsorship

$1,000.00 maximum grants

It is recommended that the $3,500 be approved for this event.

An additional $500 sponsorship to the Legacy Run would complete the contribution of $4,000 to Markham Stouffville Hospital for 2005.
