RECOMMENDATION:
That
a by-law be enacted authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the necessary
release and abandonment of the watermain easement registered on title to the
lands described herein, in a form satisfactory to the Town Solicitor.
PURPOSE:
To
obtain authority to release and abandon a watermain easement.
BACKGROUND:
On
March 26, 1998, the Town acquired a watermain easement from 1055097 Ontario
Limited registered on lands legally described as Part of Lot 17, Concession 6,
designated as Parts 2, 5 and 8, Plan 65R-19978 and registered as Instrument No.
LT1257320. Monarch Construction Limited
registered Plans 65M-3343 and 65M-3582 and relocated the watermain easement
into the Town owned
