SUBJECT: Purchase of Sponsorship – Markhaven Gala – November 10, 2006

RECOMMENDATION:

That Council sponsors the Markhaven Foundation Gala on November 10, 2006 in the amount of $2000. The Gala dinner will be held Le Parc Markham. The cost to be charged to account 840 8415840.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

This Gala is in support of the Markhaven Seniors Residence. Council will purchase a table of 10 and have recognition in the program, on screen at the gala, website and press.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

The Town would be recognized as a Silver Sponsor in the amount of $2000. Charges to account 840 8415840.
