SUBJECT: Revised 2011 Budget Schedule

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the report dated February 14, 2011 entitled “Revised 2011 Budget Schedule” be received;

AND THAT the 2011 Budget be discussed at the following meetings:

Budget Sub-Committee – Monday, February 14^th (General Committee dissolving into Budget Sub-Committee upon completion of the General Committee Agenda – Canada Room)

Budget Sub-Committee – Tuesday, February 15^th (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Canada Room)

General Committee – Monday, February 28^th (9:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Canada Room)

AND THAT a public meeting be held on Monday February 28^th at 4:30pm in the Council Chamber to receive public feedback on the 2011 Budget;

AND THAT the 2011 Budget be brought forward to the Tuesday March 1^st Council meeting;

AND THAT a press conference on the 2011 approved Budget be held in the Council Chamber on Wednesday March 2^nd at a time to be determined;

AND That Staff be authorized and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to this resolution.

PURPOSE:
