That the staff information
report dated November 23, 2004 regarding the proposed Official Plan and Zoning
By-law Amendments, ZA 04 026537 and OP 04 26818, for 175 Anderson Avenue, be
received as information relative to the Public Meeting scheduled for November
23, 2004.

BACKGROUND:

The subject property has an area of 0.5 hectares

Commercial Area). This designation
provides for places of worship. However,
Official Plan Amendment No. 115 (Places
of Worship) only permits Places of Worship along Provincial Highways,
arterial or major collector roads. As

Warehousing (M.I.), with specific permission for an adult entertainment parlour
by (By-law 88-76), as amended. This
zoning designation does not permit a place of worship and therefore a zoning
amendment is required.
