The Special Council Meeting
for Community Recognition convened at 7:15 p.m. on June 24, 2013 in the Council
Chamber. Mayor Frank Scarpitti presided.
On behalf of Council, Mayor
Frank Scarpitti welcomed members of the public to the Special Council Meeting
for Community Recognition. He noted the purpose
of the meeting is to recognize and celebrate individuals who have made
contributions to the community of Markham by serving on one of the City’s
eighty (80) advisory boards and committees, whose term ended in either 2011 or
2012.
